How can I access my Topstat XL reports without creating a hit?Go to your report page, make a bookmark of the page and use it next time to go directly to your reports.
Where are the numbers / digits on the Topstat XL button?A counter on your page is not part of the Topstat XL program. If you click the button the stats will appear.
How can I change Topstat XL information after registering?You can change your information and tracker options on the options page. You will find it in the top navigation.
Do you allow me to track multiple pages?The free Topstat XL service is not limited to one tracker on one page per site. However we do not measure clickpaths. Probably you filled in a wrong email address or the email got lost in the travel. You may email your login, we will send you the setup email by hand.
Accessing my page, javascript errors shows up, how can I fix it?Most of the error's are made by changing the code or not copying the code exactly, check if you did everything as stated in the setup email. If you still can't get it to work, please make a temporary page and send us an email with the url so we can check.
I've used the Geocities editor and I get javascript errors when accessing my page, what's up?Try to copy and paste in a normal texteditor, upload the file to your server and check the page without going through the Geocities editor.

Probably the code is altered or not complete. It can happen that the code is changed during the copying and pasting. The page doesn't download all the way down, what's wrong ?The page timmed out, we don't want your page to take more download time than 5 seconds. Just refresh your page if this occurs.
Is the Topstat XL service really free?Absolutely! We do not require any payment for our XL service. We do require, however, that you display a link button (20x20 pixels) on your participating pages to help us grow. The more traffic we get, the more potential for signups. We do not make any money off of our free accounts.
What is a "hit" and what counts as a hit?A hit occurs whenever a visitor views one of the pages on your site. A hit can also be called a Page View. |
