How long would it take to get the font once I place the order?One thing that drives me crazy about many free fonts is that they lack the full extended character set, it's replaced with either an empty space or a vertical rectangle. I use dashes when I write a LOT. So, I wanted to see how you deal with that issue. Is it free to get a preview? I'm really interested in this, but I want to see my font before I order it. If you can't use it and still want to place an order - nothing is impossible, just mail me at ellinor@fontgarden.com How do you create fonts?I use FontLabs Scanfont a scanner and Paintshop Pro. I scan in handwritings into Paintshop Pro clean the letters up and import the scanned picture into Scanfont. Then set the spacing and do some more cleaning up. That's it! Can I scan in my font and send it to you via e-mail?Yes. If you scan it in at 600dpi in black and white NOT greyscale!!! But please use the orderform for full instructions. What do I need to do so you can make a font out of my handwriting?You need to go to the Your Handwriting as a Font page and place an order. You will then have to download a template to fill out and send back to me. Either by email or by snail mail. When you pay with PayPal you will get your font. I will send out a note to tell you it's waiting for you within 72 hours. Can my font be a script font?Yes it can! Just think of keeping the slant of your font constant and don't write too long "tails" since I have to edit them anyway. visitor(s) thought this was helpful. Do you?Yes you will get the whole alphabet sent to your e-mail address, you can also get your font delivered on disk to your home address then you will be charged extra for delivery. Your font will be as complete as you want it to. Download the form from the orderpage and see how many characters you are allowed! It's free to get a preview, but since it's a lot of work behind the preview, please don't place an order if you are not sure you want a font :) You can however cancel your order - no fees!
