How much more does an in-floor system cost compared to a forced air or a baseboard system?Installation cost is a function of size and complexity of the system. It will cost more to install, but not as much as some perceive, and possibly, less to operate-up to 30% less. Payback depends on the cost of energy used to run the system, and the heat settings you choose.
When does the system turn on?The Ozone system automatically turns on when you run the pool pump. We recommend approximately 8-12 hours per day of operating time. If the pool has experienced heavy bather loading, you can run the system longer. The equipment to test for Ozone levels in a residential pool system is cost prohibitive and is usually only done for large public pools. However, as long as your...
Wired or wireless, which should I choose? This is basically a question of cost and ease of installation. Wireless systems are easier to install, but they cost quite a bit more. Each zone will run from $35 and up. A wired system, by comparison, will usually cost only about $50 to $100 per 8 or 16-zone panel or expander, $2.50 an up for the sensor, and the wire to connect them. But you will spend a lot more time run...
How much does the Ozzi Kleen cost to run?Ozzi Kleen is extremely cost efficient. Due to the unique process the system does not run continuously. For further details click here.
How much does a portable Air Conditioner cost to run? Most of the single unit Air Conditioners input power is below 1000W (1KW) per hour. Therefore, the cost to run on full power would be around 5p/ 6p (Average domestic tariff of 1 unit of electricity = 6p.) Split system air conditioners having inputs of around 1.3 kw/hr would cost around 8p per hour to run on full power.
How much does it cost?Grid-tie PV systems typically cost $7 to $9 per watt, installed. An average residential system large enough to provide enough power for a household of 3 or 4 people would be about a 4 kW system and would run around $32,000 installed.
How much does it cost?Cost of development and implementation of any quality management system is dependent on the size, complexity, and the current status of the management system. The cost consists of: cost of system development (either by internal resources or consultant), cost of implementation, cost of making required changes, and cost of auditing. For cost of consulting please fill in the ...
How does solar compare with heat pumps for pool heating? The cost of installing an electric heat pump is generally comparable to the cost of a solar heating system. The annual cost of electricity to run a heat pump may be two thirds the cost of gas, but the sun's energy is FREE. Also, remember, a heat pump has a refrigerant system with a motor and compressor. When these mechanical parts eventually wear out they are expensive to ...
What about operating costs? The ozone generator/air dryer consumes 200 w of electricity. At 7 cents/killowat hour (a typical electrical cost), your cost to run the system for 5 hours is 7 cents. We recommend running the system for 8-12 hours per day.
What does the system cost to run?If your site is hilly, the cost is zero. If your site is flat, a small sump pump will switch on for 60 seconds only when required. This is equivalent to switching on a 100 watt light globe for 60 seconds. If you have a holiday house or you are away on holidays, running costs are also zero when the system is not in use.
