I have a big garden, surely I shouldn't have to pay for so much wastewater? We allow you 25% of year-round water use for the garden. If you use more you may consider installing a garden meter (one-off cost $435). This gives you an outside tap for the garden hose, for which there is no wastewater charge at all, however, the household wastewater charge is then calculated at 100%, with no allowance for outside use. Some designers will charge a small fee for an initial meeting and this is likely to be between £40 and £60 per hour; others will offer one meeting for free. Agree the terms of this meeting beforehand. Afterwards, if you wish to pro... |
